The hosts managed to pinch a draw when it seemed like they'd slump to a shock defeat. Real Madrid snatched a point at the Staniago Bernabeu as Inaki Williams' goal was cancelled out by a late Cristiano Ronaldo flick. Madrid looked like threatening for much of the game but were behind on 14-minutes when Williams lifted a gorgeous dink over the onrushing Kaylor Navas to give Athletic a shock lead. Ernesto Valverde has overseen one of the most impressive defensive seasons in recent memory, and  Barcelona  have now set a brand new unbeaten record in LaLiga after taking their run to 39 matches without defeat. Barcelona suffered a shock Champions League defeat at the hands of Roma, losing 3-0 in their quarterfinal second leg at the Stadio Olimpico to go out 4-4 on aggregate thanks to an away goal for the Serie A side in the first leg.Trailing by an apparently unassailable lead,Roma on the back of a 4-1 defeat at Nou Camp in the first leg,manage to turn the tie around through goals from Edin Dzeko, De Rossi and a late Manolas goal.
